Seaside hotel stay in Kandestederne
Nature has blessed us with the most beautiful location, making it possible to fully absorb the tranquility – without unnecessary interruptions from traffic noise and artificial streetlights. We are situated right in the middle of the dunes, not far from the roaring of the North Sea.
We highly value presence, deep reflection, and community, which is why we have chosen for everyone to dine at the same time, at 6:00 PM. In the late afternoon, the cocktail of the day is available in the lounge or on the terrace, weather permitting. When the dinner bell rings, everyone gathers in the restaurant to continue the cozy togetherness.
Just like the rest of Hjorths Badehotel, the kitchen draws its inspiration from the nature of North Jutland, our surroundings, and our beautiful Danish roots. We reinterpret classic Danish dishes and add our own touch, using the very best local and seasonal ingredients, with a strong focus on organic produce, sustainability, and animal welfare.
We want to offer our guests a sanctuary where everyday life and stress do not exist – a space to rediscover your inner values. That is why yoga is often offered as part of your stay, taking place in our hall with a view of the beautiful dune landscape.

The seaside hotel stay includes
Arrival and check-in at 3:00 PM.
At 6:30 PM, the dinner bell rings for a 3-course menu in our authentic restaurant; the evening begins with 4 snacks across two servings.
Evening coffee or tea accompanied by a sweet treat in the lounge.
Available to book from March to October.
Price per person, per day in a shared double room – from DKK 1,395.
Price per person, per day in a single room – from DKK 2,095.
